I farted,
And everyone around me parted.
I wondered what I had done wrong,
To cause dispersion amongst this throng.

I looked left, I looked right,
And suddenly I realized their plight.
A smell slowly crept up my nose,
Which would only make these people my foes.

I tried to remember what I had for lunch that day,
Whatever it was, it wasn’t okay.
Was it the beans, or the peas, or the combination of the two?
All I know is that it made me want to poo.

In closing, try not to combust,
Or you may find yourself alone in the dust.
Those around you will stampede out in a herd,
Wishing that your fart had never occurred.
